Over het evenement
The Groninger Filmdagen is a showcase film festival featuring the work of Groningen-based filmmakers. Simultaneously, the accompanying symposium focuses on trends and innovations within the sector.
The event will be held for the first time in 2025 and is organized in collaboration with the Beeldcoalitie.
The Groninger Filmdagen aim to bring people together to enjoy films by Groningen creators, as well as to develop and strengthen the Groningen film industry.
Groningen filmmakers are given a broad platform to screen their films and engage in dialogue with their audiences and each other.
Visitors can discover the trends and innovations in the sector, while masterclasses and workshops contribute to the professional development of filmmakers.
The landscape of the Film and AV sector in Groningen is largely uncharted. With these first Groninger Filmdagen, we want to mark that playing field and put our vision for the future into practice.
